Help Support VT in OUR NEW VENUE!
That’s right we are moving to the Pencil Factory Lofts in early 2012 – Don’t worry, it’s less than a football field away from our old place. 349 Decatur Street! The venue will be larger, with 180 parking spaces (in a secure parking deck), 3 restaurants to choose from and will sit DIRECTLY on the MLK Marta line stop. Oh, and most importantly, we will serve BEER AND WINE at the new locale! PLF!!!

Groupon FAQ
Hey there! Thanks for purchasing a groupon to the Village Theatre. We love to bring comedy to everyone and Groupon has been a great way for us to do that! Here are some common questions that our box office has received:
How do I use my Groupon?
Easy – just make a reservation with a 24 hour advance notice by either calling our box office at 404-688-8858 or emailing us at villagecomedy@gmail.com. You will receive a confirmation email from a box office attendant. MAKE SURE YOU RECEIVE A CONFIRMATION EMAIL!
What info do I need to provide when emailing/calling?
We MUST have your name, phone number, Groupon number(s), and email address to take your reservation. Again, your order is NOT complete and your reservation is NOT confirmed until you receive a confirmation email from our box office.
What are your box office hours?
The physical box office is open from Tuesday to Saturday from 10am – 6pm. Our box office attendants, like our actors, are all volunteers (so be nice to them!) Also you can always email us at villagecomedy@gmail.com. Please be aware that we will respond to your questions as soon as possible, but we are not open 24/7. Your patience is very much appreciated.
How soon should I make a reservation?
The sooner the better – we require at least 24 hours notice, but give yourself more time – we tend to sell out fast towards the end of the week. We are a tiny theatre so make a reservation early! Also, reservations close to the sale date of the groupon and the expiration date of the groupon tend to get very busy. Plan accordingly!
What’s the deal with Wednesday night?
We are offering you the chance to double your groupon on Wed nights! That means, if you have a groupon for 2 tickets, you can use it for 4 tickets on WED NIGHT (so 4 people). This offer is only good for WED night shows, and is only good for attending ONE SHOW. No exceptions.
What are your show times?
Wednesdays at 9:30pm (doors open at 9pm)
Fridays & Saturdays at 8:30pm (doors open at 8pm)
Unclaimed reservations are re-sold 15 minutes after the show begins (sorry, we’ve gotta start the show sometime!)
PARTIES ARRIVING LATE MAY NOT BE ABLE TO SIT TOGETHER! PLEASE ARRIVE EARLY!
Is there an age requirement?
Because this is improv, and it is spontaneous, live and sometimes raw – We generally suggest that the minimum age to our shows is 16-18 years old. However, the final decision is left up to the parent(s). Our Saturday night show is definitely for 18+.
Dr. Frank on Who Wants To Be A Millionaire
VT has finally come into possession of the footage for Dr. Frank’s WWTBAM audition. Take a look – he gets JOBBED! I still don’t know the answer to the question they asked him!!!
