WELCOME TO - The Village Theatre, your local source for hilarious improv comedy since 2008. We call ourselves the Village Theatre, because we're from all walks of life and we each serve an important purpose: to get your sour puss to crack a smile once in a while. We're veterans of improv, sketch and stand-up. Our combined comedic powers join to form an amazing force. You know, like Voltron. That name is protected by copyright, so we are Village Theatre. As the African proverb says, "It takes a Voltron." If you are looking for information on our weekly improv shows, classes, corporate workshops, or just a cheap date idea then this is the place. The Village Theatre's Kickstarter Campaign!

The Village Theatre's current location in the Old Fourth Ward of Atlanta is being demolished this year. Luckily, we've found an even better location at Pencil Factory Lofts, a development nearby.

Our new spot will have 33% more seating and additional classroom space. This will allow us to teach even more improv classes and workshops and accommodate more patrons at our performances.

We're asking for additional funding to cover risers, sound equipment, stage and bathroom construction and contractor fees. We're very excited about the possibility of Kickstarter being part of the process in making the move happen.
